Universiti Brunei Darussalam ranked 34th in the latest QS Top 50 Under 50 ranking By QS Asia News Network – July 9, 2018

The 33-year old Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) has rose to 34th this year in the 2019 QS Top 50 Under 50 ranking, claiming its spot as one of the best young universities in the world.
UBD has made significant leaps in research and innovation and this has proven to be one of the key reasons for its recent rise in the ranking. UBD changed its strategy from being a teaching university to a university of teaching excellence and research and as a result, QS has acknowledged UBD as a “high-research intensive” university.
UBD covers areas that are relevant to Brunei such as studies on green energy, herbal and medicinal plants and pharmacology.
