Al-Farabi Kazakh National University today is one of the largest universities in the world. It is a proof of the fact that the Kazakh university is ranked 236th among the 800 best universities in the world at the QS international ranking.
On the basis of this approach, the international educational model has been defined as its overall development, improving its position in the global educational system. It is becoming more and more popular with the innovative mobility and academic mobility, through the effective implementation of the exchange of qualified professionals, as well as the development of fundamental and applied research. It is worth noting that each student, each teacher, each professor has a unique contribution to the development of the university in the modern age.
Even during the first Independence years, when we can not fully define our right, Professor of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Zh.O. Ibrashev was one of the first to consider the necessity for a new profession for our country. Jarkas Ibrashev died at the age of 88 in January 2016, when he was a prominent scientist, a great teacher, a founder of international relations in the independent Kazakhstan, and spent more than 65 years at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Professor Zharas Omarovich Ibrashev was one of the Kazakhs who had a high knowledge, consciousness, consciousness, and patience.
In 1950, after graduating from the Faculty of History of the Kazakh State University named after SMKirov, Ibrashev was an assistant, senior lecturer of the Department of General History of the University, and as the second secretary of the Almaty City Komsomol organization he was actively involved in public affairs and even became a deputy of the city council. . In any sphere of activity, he was distinguished by his loyalty and dedication. Even though the 1968 Czechoslovak political upheaval of the Soviet Union led to a military coup in Prague, the genuine analytics on the television channel contravened the policy of the Soviet authorities, and the political commentator was abruptly abused and suffered some “difficulties”. He is interested in French politics in the field of science, during 1970-1986, he successfully completed his doctoral studies.
In the spring of 1992, under the auspices of the first Minister of Foreign Affairs of independent Kazakhstan, Toleitai Suleimenov, under the auspices of professor Zh.Ibashev, the auspices of the Deputy Minister Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, the department of international relations was opened in the History Faculty of the Al Farabi Kazakh National University. The first full-time professionals in the field of international relations in Kazakhstan graduated from the Faculty of International Relations in 1995.. At that time, from 1994 to 2000, Ibrashev served as the Head of the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy of Kazakhstan. In 2000, by the decision of the Academic Council of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Ibrashev was awarded the title of “Honorary Chair” Although he was over 70 years old, he did not want to officially become a pensioner.
The scholar was the founder of the scientific school in the field of international relations and diplomacy. Also, Zharas Omarovich propagandized a democratic way of development and wrote a number of educational and scientific works. Zharas Omarovich has published more than 200 scientific and scientific-journalistic articles, 5 monographs, a number of educational and methodical manuals. Every work is full of democratic values. Until the last moment of his life, he shared his innovative ideas, participating in the work of the department, faculty, university. The center for the study of “Eurasian integration” was dedicated to the present and future of the Kazakh people. Each word of Zharas Omaruly, each thought, was aimed at educating young people. Everything in our brother’s life is the image of a real intelligent person. Under the leadership of Professor I. Ibashev 10 doctors of sciences, 34 candidates of sciences, 2 PhDs defended. Taking into account the fruitful work of the teacher, he was awarded with awards from the authorities. Zh.O. Ibrashev was awarded the medal “Eren enbegi ushin” on December 7, 2004 by the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, in 2005 he was awarded the medal “10 years of the Constitution of Kazakhstan” and in 2008 was awarded the medal “10 years of Astana”. In 2009, by the order of the rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University № 182, Zh. Ibrashev was awarded the “Big Gold Medal”. In 2014, he was awarded the Golden Prize of the International Prize, the laureate of the Eurasian Literary Prize.
At the end of 2016 a publication titled “The Great Life” was published by the “Kazakh University” publishing house for Professor Zharas Omaruly. The collection includes the published scientific researches and articles of the scientist, archival documents and pictures, memoirs of colleagues and students, relatives. At the same time, by the decision of the Academic Council of the Faculty of International Relations, the Hall of the Academic Council was named after Professor Zh.O. Ibrashev.
The feeling of intelligence is that of Zh.O. Despite the fact that Ibrashev’s life has not been studied, his example is full of examples for today’s colleagues and future youth.
